About Windsor.ai MCP

Windsor.ai's remote MCP connects AI clients to the user's integrated marketing, analytics, CRM, e-commerce, and warehouse data; it can also perform connector-specific write actions and scheduled exports.

What you can use it for

  • Query cross-channel marketing and analytics data
  • Build unified reports and calculate ROAS
  • Inspect connector fields and accounts
  • Create or manage ad campaigns and budgets on supported sources
  • Schedule data exports to supported destinations

Endpoint
https://mcp.windsor.ai/
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 is recommended and uses browser login; API-key clients can use Authorization: Bearer <Windsor API key>. An account is required. Connector-specific accounts and plan entitlements may be additional prerequisites.

Requirements

  • Windsor.ai account
  • At least one connected data source for useful queries
  • MCP client supporting remote HTTP and OAuth, or API-key authorization

Setup steps

  1. Add https://mcp.windsor.ai/ as a remote MCP server.
  2. Complete Windsor.ai OAuth login in the browser, or securely configure a Windsor API key as a Bearer token where OAuth is unavailable.
  3. Use get_connectors to inspect connected sources and authorization needs.
  4. Begin with get_fields/get_options and a read-only get_data query.
  5. Before using execute_action, create_custom_field, or create_destination_task, explain the impact and get user confirmation.
Tools 16

The current Windsor maintainer reference lists 16 fixed tools. Removed get_custom_fields and create_custom_field, which are absent from the current authoritative inventory. Connector-specific actions remain dynamic and are exposed through list_actions/execute_action; the live connector list is separate from tool count.

Limitations and notes
  • The server has high-impact write tools including campaign/budget changes, posts, review replies, listing changes, and scheduled exports. Scheduled exports can replace matching destination rows.
  • Connector actions vary by linked account and are discovered at runtime.
  • Windsor recommends confirming user intent before execute_action and create_destination_task.
  • Subscription plans may restrict sources/actions; no universal free entitlement asserted.
