About Stytch MCP

Hosted Stytch MCP for programmatic configuration of authentication projects and workspace resources, including redirect URLs, email templates, and project tokens, using OAuth-based agent authorization.

What you can use it for

  • Inspect or create projects and configure consumer SDK authentication products.
  • Read and manage redirect URLs and public project tokens.

Hosting

Transport
SSE
Endpoint
https://mcp.stytch.dev/sse
Authentication
OAuth-based agent authorization through Stytch Connected Apps.

Requirements

  • OAuth-based agent authorization; the official blog also documents an SSE endpoint for clients that support it.

Setup steps

  1. Connect remote MCP clients to https://mcp.stytch.dev/sse. For clients without remote OAuth support, the official blog documents npx mcp-remote https://mcp.stytch.dev/mcp --host 127.0.0.1.
  2. Authorize with the Stytch OAuth flow before using workspace actions.

This server’s available tools can vary by account, permissions, or configuration. The list shown is not its full runtime catalog.

Limitations and notes
  • The official blog describes workspace actions broadly and does not publish a complete tools/list inventory.
  • Configuration changes can alter live authentication project settings.
Original sources
  • official publisher blog

Current publisher announcement identifies the SSE endpoint, OAuth-based agent authorization, broad Programmatic Workspace Actions surface, and an mcp-remote fallback for clients without remote OAuth.
