Magnific MCP

Magnific (formerly Freepik)

Streamable HTTP236 documented tools5

About Magnific MCP

Magnific's remote MCP server lets an authenticated assistant generate and edit images, create video/audio/3D assets, upscale and manage creations, and inspect generation history using the user's Magnific account.

What you can use it for

  • Generate images, video, audio, and 3D assets from chat.
  • Edit, upscale, crop, resize, convert, or remove backgrounds from images.
  • Search and inspect previous creations and organize them in folders or Spaces.
  • Create custom character or style references for consistent generations.
Connection and setup
Hosting
Remote, cloud-hosted
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://mcp.magnific.com
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 with a Magnific account. The client opens a browser for sign-in and consent; no API key is required for MCP. Operations consume the account's shared Magnific credit balance.

Requirements

  • Magnific account
  • MCP client supporting Streamable HTTP and OAuth browser authorization
  • ChatGPT custom-app setup additionally requires Developer mode and a Pro, Business, or Enterprise plan, per Magnific documentation

Setup steps

  1. Add a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server named Magnific at https://mcp.magnific.com in a supported client.
  2. Authorize in the browser by signing in to Magnific and approving the OAuth request.
  3. For Claude Code, the documented command is: claude mcp add --transport http magnific https://mcp.magnific.com.
  4. For Cursor, add a global MCP server with URL https://mcp.magnific.com, then reload the entry and complete browser sign-in.
  5. For ChatGPT, enable Developer mode, create an app using OAuth and the endpoint URL, then complete sign-in; custom apps require Pro, Business, or Enterprise.
  6. After connection, confirm the server appears and use a harmless read tool such as account_balance only if the user requests a balance check. Generation and edits spend credits, so do not use them as setup checks.
Tools 236

Magnific’s current official reference lists 236 tools. Catalog rows are rebuilt directly from its complete per-tool Markdown table, replacing an older 37-tool sample. Feature requirements and credit costs vary by tool and account.

Limitations and notes
  • MCP usage shares the Magnific account credit balance; generation costs vary by model and resolution. Check current Magnific pricing before use; this is not a free-use claim.
  • ChatGPT custom apps require Developer mode and are documented as available on Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans.
  • The available live tool list can change and may vary; the official documentation names the catalog captured here.
  • No runtime connection test was performed.
Source discrepancies
  • The discovery queue called this Freepik and included a Freepik-owned hackathon repository with local/API-key setup. The current Freepik documentation URL redirects to Magnific's hosted OAuth server. The official company confirms Freepik became Magnific and is the same company. This record describes only the current hosted Magnific MCP; historical hackathon instructions are not merged.
Original sources
  • official tool reference

Current publisher documentation names exactly 236 Magnific MCP tools across account, creations, image/video/audio/3D, stock, design, Spaces, organization and enterprise features. Replaced the older partial 37-name list with the current complete publisher table. OAuth; actions spend account credits according to feature.
