About Cloudflare Radar MCP (deprecated)

A hosted Cloudflare MCP server for Radar internet insights and URL Scanner actions. Cloudflare has deprecated this server and directs users to its unified Cloudflare API MCP.

What you can use it for

  • Historically, explore Cloudflare Radar internet insights
  • Historically, inspect URL Scanner reports and related network information
Connection and setup
Hosting
Remote hosted
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://radar.mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp
Authentication
Cloudflare OAuth or a Cloudflare API token with the required account:read and radar:read permissions; URL Scanner write operations need url_scanner:write. The server is being retired, so new use should follow Cloudflare's migration guidance.

Requirements

  • Cloudflare account for account-scoped features
  • Remote MCP client supporting Streamable HTTP and Cloudflare authorization
  • Cloudflare API token with required scopes if using token authentication

Setup steps

  1. Cloudflare's repository lists the historical/current endpoint as https://radar.mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp.
  2. Cloudflare's Radar app source explicitly marks the endpoint deprecated and says it continues to respond for now but will be retired.
  3. For new connections, follow the repository's migration guidance and connect https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp using OAuth or a bearer API token.
  4. If maintaining an existing Radar endpoint, use only permissions needed; radar:read is documented for Radar data and url_scanner:write permits URL Scanner writes.
Tools 66

The 66 stored names belong to the deprecated Radar/URL Scanner server. Cloudflare’s current recommendation is the unified API MCP at https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp, exposing broad API actions via generic search/execute.

Limitations and notes
  • Deprecated and scheduled for retirement by Cloudflare.
  • Cloudflare recommends unified Cloudflare API MCP at https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp instead.
  • The unified API server uses generic search and execute tools; do not represent those as Radar-specific tool names.
Original sources
  • official tool reference

Cloudflare source marks the Radar MCP server deprecated and recommends unified https://mcp.cloudflare.com/mcp, which provides Radar API access through generic Code Mode search/execute tools. Existing 66 names are legacy Radar and URL Scanner operation tools; endpoint remains temporarily available per notice.
