Authentication

OAuth or API-key Bearer authentication.

Requirements

• Node.js 20 or newer for local package
• Notra API key created in Notra workspace dashboard under Developer → API Keys
• MCP-compatible client

Setup steps

1. In the Notra dashboard, open Developer → API Keys and create/copy a key.
2. Store it locally as NOTRA_API_KEY using the client secret mechanism.
3. For local stdio, use command npx with args -y @usenotra/mcp.
4. The official hosted endpoint is https://mcp.usenotra.com/mcp; configure the documented bearer authentication and do not paste the key into chat.
5. Inspect tools before use; do not call publish/delete actions for a smoke test.

Official Notra maintainer repository declares 97 tools overall; the 29 exact names listed here cover the published posts, brand, integrations, schedules, chats and skills toolsets. Other GEO/workspace tools are not enumerated in this subset.
