Limitations and notes
  • Requires a running Milvus instance and Python 3.10+; embedding-based text similarity requires Milvus 2.6+ and an embedding function.
  • This is the zilliztech/mcp-server-milvus local/database server. Do not conflate its tools with the separate Zilliz Cloud control-plane MCP.
