Endpoint

OAuth through organizational Glean sign-in/SSO; tenant admin enables and configures MCP.

Requirements

  • Glean organization with MCP enabled
  • Connected data sources and user permissions
  • Tenant-specific backend URL copied from Glean Settings → Third party apps and MCP

Setup steps

  1. In Glean, open profile → Your settings → Third party apps and MCP and copy the displayed MCP URL.
  2. Configure that exact URL with an OAuth-capable MCP client and complete organizational SSO.
  3. Ask Glean to search for a known document to confirm access.
  4. If unavailable, ask the admin to enable MCP and verify connected sources/toolsets.
Tools 24+

Crawl4AI checked the official Glean MCP admin, built-in tools reference, and user guide. Official docs enumerate 24 optional built-in MCP tools across search, connected data, artifacts, images, memory, and dynamic skills; each server/tenant chooses its toolsets and some tools require deployment capabilities or permissions, so this is the documented catalog rather than a guaranteed runtime roster.
