About Freshservice via Composio

Documented Freshservice API actions are available through Composio’s toolkit and remote MCP connection.

What you can use it for

  • Freshservice account data and workflows
Connection and setup
Hosting
Composio-hosted remote MCP; vendor API accessed through third-party toolkit
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://connect.composio.dev/mcp
Authentication
API key; enter it in Composio’s secure connection flow.

Requirements

  • Freshservice account and permissions for intended operations.
  • Provider API key or OAuth credentials as specified by Composio’s Freshservice toolkit page.
  • Composio account and an MCP client supporting Streamable HTTP.
  • Freshservice user/API key with roles appropriate to intended ticket or service-request operations; an administrator can create a dedicated integration user.

Setup steps

  1. Add the Composio Connect URL as a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server.
  2. Select/enable the documented toolkit and initiate its account connection from the Composio connection flow.
  3. Freshservice credentials are entered in Composio’s secure connection form.
  4. Complete provider authentication in the secure connection flow; do not place secrets in the catalog configuration.
  5. Inspect tools/list after connection. Confirm before sending messages, changing records, deleting data, or triggering external workflows.
  6. For a user key, in Freshservice click the profile picture → Profile Settings and copy the API key shown in the right sidebar; enter it only in Composio’s secure connection flow. Prefer a dedicated least-privilege integration identity when your workspace supports it.

This server’s available tools can vary by account, permissions, or configuration. The list shown is not its full runtime catalog.

Limitations and notes
  • Third-party platform-mediated connection, not a standalone or vendor-hosted product MCP.
  • Tool availability and permissions depend on provider account, credentials, plans, and Composio toolkit version.
  • Connection and functionality were not tested in this research pass.
