Vendor currently documents OAuth 2.0 or a dashboard-generated personal API token. The page has conflicting plan language: its overview says premium subscribers and its prerequisites say free tier is unsupported; verify eligibility in the account.

• ForexGPT account; integration guide says Premium subscription required, while the same page footer advertises a free account with daily tokens. Exact MCP entitlement is conflicting and should be confirmed in the dashboard.
• Internet access.
• OANDA demo account/API credentials only for OANDA trading tools; vendor warns these credentials provide account access.

Setup steps

1. Confirm the account plan currently includes MCP access; the vendor integration page conflicts between premium-only prerequisites and free-account daily tokens.
2. Add https://mcp.forex-gpt.ai/mcp as a remote MCP connector in a supported client.
3. Follow the client's browser-based ForexGPT OAuth authorization flow. For Claude, the vendor's separate setup article says a unique magic link may be required from the beta dashboard.
4. For token-based clients, sign in at https://live4.forex-gpt.ai/dashboard, create an API token in API Access, and store it in local secret storage. The vendor says tokens last 90 days and provide full account access.
5. If using OANDA-specific account tools, connect an OANDA demo account and use its API credential only through the service's documented secure credential tool flow.
6. First verify with a read-only tool such as list_assets or get_chart_data. Do not invoke order placement/modification/cancellation tools without explicit user confirmation; these can change brokerage account state.

The current vendor reference claims 45 tools but exposes 44 distinct tool headings in its published All Tools Reference. All 44 names are captured here; one claimed tool is not named in the page. This is not a live tools/list snapshot. The set includes OANDA account and order-management tools, which may perform consequential trading actions.
