About Fathom Meetings MCP

Fathom hosted MCP lets an AI client query meetings visible to the connected user and draft follow-up work products.

What you can use it for

  • Ask questions about meetings the user may view.
  • Draft follow-up emails, QBR narratives, plans and briefs from meeting context.

Requirements

  • A Fathom account and permission to view the meetings being queried.
  • An MCP-compatible client. Team/organization Claude use may require an owner to enable the connector first.

Setup steps

  1. Connect to the Fathom MCP endpoint `https://api.fathom.ai/mcp` using the client’s remote MCP flow.
  2. Complete the authorization prompts with the intended Fathom account.
  3. For ChatGPT, Fathom documents installing its app from the ChatGPT app listing and selecting Connect; for other compatible clients, use the endpoint above.
  4. Check that Fathom is enabled for the current conversation and that individual tools are toggled on. If it was connected after a conversation began, start a fresh conversation and inspect the tools again.
  5. Use read-only meeting retrieval first; meeting access is limited to items the Fathom account may already view.
Tools 9+

Nine names in the catalog are retained from an independent September 16, 2026 report of a live August 24 enumeration. Fathom’s own help page, edited October 19, 2026, says there are seven configurable tool toggles but does not name them. The nine historical names conflict with the latest publisher count; exact current names and whether the roster changed require authenticated tools/list. Do not treat these nine rows as the complete current roster.
