About eSagu Remote MCP

eSagu’s hosted MCP endpoint connects AI clients to authorized eSagu product services for marketplace repricing and operations, HelpDesk, and Lost & Found workflows.

What you can use it for

  • Search/list items and query or change pricing and repricing settings.
  • List, inspect, categorize, prioritize and update HelpDesk tickets.
  • Access Lost & Found case workflows; supported service set varies by account.
Connection and setup
Hosting

Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://api.esagu.de/mcp
Authentication
OAuth 2.1; user selects the eSagu service to authorize.

Requirements

  • An eSagu account with access to the selected service (exact subscription and service entitlements are account-dependent and not specified in the reviewed MCP setup guide).
  • An MCP client supporting remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1.
  • For ChatGPT, the current eSagu guide requires enabling Developer Mode (Beta) and creating a custom app; the guide notes Memory is disabled in that mode.

Setup steps

  1. Use remote endpoint https://api.esagu.de/mcp.
  2. Claude: Settings ? Connectors ? Add custom connector; enter the endpoint, then sign in through OAuth, choose an eSagu service, and authorize. Configure read-only tools as Always allow and write/delete tools as Needs approval, as recommended by eSagu.
  3. ChatGPT: Settings ? Apps ? Advanced settings ? enable Developer mode; create an app with the endpoint and OAuth; choose the service in OAuth and authorize. Enable the app in the chat before making requests.
  4. Open WebUI: Admin Panel ? Settings ? External Tools; add MCP Streamable HTTP, endpoint, OAuth 2.1; Register Client, choose service and authorize, then Save.
  5. Mistral: Intelligence (Beta) ? Connectors ? Add Connector ? Custom MCP; enter endpoint, choose OAuth 2.1; select service, authorize, and enable desired tools.
  6. Verify using a harmless read such as listing marketplace items or tickets. Ask for approval before any repricing changes, ticket updates, or other write/delete operation.

This server’s available tools can vary by account, permissions, or configuration. The list shown is not its full runtime catalog.

Limitations and notes
  • The endpoint is in beta.
  • Available operations depend on the selected eSagu service and user permissions.
Source discrepancies
  • Earlier review said no exact MCP source. The official eSagu setup tutorial now resolves the identity and remote endpoint. It does not list exact runtime tool names; that remains explicitly dynamic and unknown.
