Authentication
OAuth 2.1 Authorization Code + PKCE with Dynamic Client Registration (DCR); no static client credentials or personal access token.

Requirements

  • Calendly account.
  • MCP client must support OAuth DCR; clients requiring manually provisioned client ID/secret are incompatible.

Setup steps

  1. Add https://mcp.calendly.com as a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server.
  2. Start the OAuth flow and approve the scheduling read/write scopes in the browser. The client registers dynamically.
  3. Check tools/list and use a harmless availability/event-type lookup before attempting booking, cancellation, or availability changes.
Tools 36+

Official reference lists 36 tools. OAuth 2.1 requires Dynamic Client Registration; booking, cancellation, schedule edits, invitation and no-show operations mutate account state. Some routing-form and booking actions are plan-gated.
