Requirements

  • MCP client with remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth support

Setup steps

  1. Add the exact endpoint https://mcp.builder.io/mcp/publish as a remote MCP server.
  2. Complete the Builder OAuth flow and select the intended workspace/content space.
  3. Inspect the connected tools before using content-write or publish operations.
Tools

No individual tool names are documented in the reviewed sources.

Official Builder docs describe workflow categories but no wire IDs. Live endpoint requires workspace OAuth (HTTP 401); no account-specific tool list was available to verify.

Limitations and notes
  • This CMS MCP connects only to Builder Content Spaces (including Hybrid Spaces).
  • Available content and actions are scoped to the authorized Space; the public page does not enumerate tool identifiers.
