About Reflag MCP

Reflag’s hosted MCP provides feature-flag context to coding agents, including flag states and relationships in a codebase, and supports flag-creation workflows.

What you can use it for

  • Understand existing feature flags and their states/relationships.
  • Create feature flags from supported coding clients.
Connection and setup
Hosting
Remote, hosted
Transport
HTTP MCP (vendor hosted)
Endpoint
https://app.reflag.com/api/mcp
Authentication
Hosted remote MCP OAuth; app ID is needed for manual client setup.

Requirements

  • Reflag account and app
  • App ID for documented manual setup
  • Compatible HTTP MCP client; Node.js when using vendor CLI/mcp-remote setup

Setup steps

  1. Use the current Reflag product name and endpoint https://app.reflag.com/api/mcp.
  2. For Cursor, add a remote HTTP MCP server using the endpoint; configuration can be project-level in `.cursor/mcp.json`.
  3. For VS Code Copilot, enable agent mode, choose MCP: Add Server ? HTTP, enter the endpoint, and use Reflag as server ID. Workspace config can be stored in `.vscode/mcp.json`.
  4. For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http Reflag https://app.reflag.com/api/mcp`, start Claude, then use `/mcp` to complete authentication.
  5. Alternatively run `npx reflag mcp` to configure a supported editor and select the app plus global/project-local scope.
  6. Verify by asking the connected coding agent to inspect the current project's feature flags.
Tools

No individual tool names are documented in the reviewed sources.

Latest official MCP docs, CLI docs, docs index, and product site checked with Crawl4AI. They provide setup and capability context but no stable exact tool identifier roster.

Limitations and notes
  • Requires a Reflag app/workspace. Use remote HTTP/OAuth directly where supported; other clients may need the vendor’s mcp-remote bridge.
