About Bitrix24 REST Documentation MCP

A vendor-hosted documentation server that lets AI clients search Bitrix24 REST API documentation and retrieve exact method, event, and development-article references.

What you can use it for

  • Look up current Bitrix24 REST methods and parameters
  • Find event documentation and app-development guides
Connection and setup
Hosting
remote
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://mcp-dev.bitrix24.com/mcp
Authentication
No authorization required. It does not read or modify a customer Bitrix24 workspace; users still need to check permissions for any API calls they generate.

Requirements

  • An MCP client that supports remote Streamable HTTP and HTTPS access to mcp-dev.bitrix24.com.

Setup steps

  1. Add remote server URL https://mcp-dev.bitrix24.com/mcp using Streamable HTTP (client config type http).
  2. No token, webhook, or Bitrix24 account is needed to connect to this documentation MCP.
  3. Use bitrix-search first, then call the matching detail tool with the exact returned title/name.
  4. Verify by asking for the required parameters of crm.item.add and checking that the response comes from the MCP documentation tools.
Tools 5

Official Bitrix24 docs list exactly five documentation-only tools. The server cannot access or modify Bitrix24 workspace data and does not execute REST calls; no credentials are needed.

  • bitrix-search

Search Bitrix24 REST documentation by natural-language query; returns exact method/article titles and short descriptions.

    01
  • bitrix-method-details

Retrieve a REST method’s parameters, return data, errors and code samples by exact method name.

    02
  • bitrix-event-details

Retrieve event documentation by its exact title.

    03
  • bitrix-article-details

Retrieve a REST documentation article by exact title.

    04
  • bitrix-app-development-doc-details

Retrieve an application-development article by exact title.

Limitations and notes
  • This is a documentation lookup server, not the workspace-management MCP.
  • Requires response support for application/json and text/event-stream; clients sending only application/json can receive HTTP 406.
  • Legacy HTTP+SSE transport is not supported. Generated REST API calls execute separately and may require user account permissions.

Current official docs list exact five tools, Streamable HTTP endpoint, no-auth documentation-only boundary and client requirements.
