Requirements

  • Airtable account and access to target bases
  • Organization allowlisting where required

Setup steps

  1. Add `https://mcp.airtable.com/mcp` as a remote MCP server in the client or use the official Airtable MCP onboarding flow.
  2. Sign in to Airtable and approve access to the bases/apps you intend to expose; Owners/Creators/Editors can configure OAuth integrations and administer MCP access.
  3. After connecting, go to Airtable profile > Integrations > Third-party integrations to select or revoke accessible bases and apps.
  4. Reconnect and verify tool discovery, then begin with read-only base/table/record queries. Create/update operations and automations can modify business data; obtain explicit approval first.
