Authentication

OAuth browser flow issues a dedicated, expiring MCP API key and displays its spend cap for approval.

Requirements

• Remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth-capable client
• OpenRouter account; inference tools may incur usage charges

Setup steps

1. Register https://mcp.openrouter.ai/mcp as a remote MCP server.
2. Run the client OAuth flow and approve the key/spend cap in browser.
3. Inspect tools/list; use lookup tools for a safe initial check.
4. `send-message` and `generate-image` can incur charges; `send-feedback` writes feedback.
