No authentication documented for Mintlify’s public documentation MCP. Customer-generated servers may expose configured API endpoints and require their own authentication.

Requirements

• MCP client supporting remote HTTP MCP.
• Customer-generated Mintlify MCP servers require public documentation; authenticated docs are not eligible for generation.

Setup steps

1. Add https://mintlify.com/docs/mcp as a remote MCP server to search Mintlify’s public docs.
2. For another Mintlify documentation site, append `/mcp` to its public docs URL or copy the MCP URL from the site dashboard.
3. Customer servers expose the default `search` tool; Pro/Enterprise customers can explicitly enable OpenAPI operations, so inspect tools/list and access controls.

One search tool is documented by default for each Mintlify documentation site. Configured OpenAPI endpoints may add tools; actual MCP inventory is site/configuration-specific.
