About Microsoft OneNote via Composio Connect

Composio Connect provides Microsoft OneNote and SharePoint notebook/page actions through its hosted tool-router MCP. This is not a Microsoft-operated standalone MCP server.

What you can use it for

  • notebook and section listing
  • page retrieval and search
  • OneNote page creation and updates
Connection and setup
Hosting
Vendor-hosted remote MCP service
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://connect.composio.dev/mcp
Authentication
OneNote OAuth 2.0; Composio-managed OAuth is not available in the cited toolkit catalog, so a customer OAuth configuration may be required.

Requirements

  • Composio account and MCP Connect flow.
  • Microsoft account with OneNote/Graph access.
  • A customer-managed Microsoft OAuth app may be required.

Setup steps

  1. Add https://connect.composio.dev/mcp and complete Composio authentication.
  2. Discover the OneNote toolkit and authorize Microsoft access using the configured OAuth method.
  3. Verify with a read-only notebook/page lookup. The toolkit includes create, update, and delete actions; require confirmation before any mutation.
Tools 7+

Current Composio toolkit documentation reports 84 versioned actions. This count is for the toolkit catalog, not an account-specific live MCP tools/list.

This server’s available tools can vary by account, permissions, or configuration. The list shown is not its full runtime catalog.

Limitations and notes
  • Platform-mediated through Composio, not a Microsoft-operated standalone MCP server.
  • Managed OAuth is not available according to the toolkit page; custom app credentials may be necessary.
  • Toolkit includes destructive operations.
