Requirements

Setup steps

  1. Add remote MCP server https://mcp.linklyhq.com in a supported client.
  2. On first connection, sign in to Linkly in the browser and authorize the intended workspace.
  3. For Claude Code, run `claude mcp add --transport http linkly https://mcp.linklyhq.com`, then use `/mcp` to complete browser authorization.
  4. For Claude Desktop custom connector, go to Settings ? Connectors ? Add custom connector, enter Linkly and the endpoint, then connect and authorize.
  5. For ChatGPT Desktop, use Linkly's official app flow or configure the endpoint as documented in the client.
  6. After connecting, verify with a harmless read action such as listing links.

Limitations and notes
  • Linkly's official Claude integration FAQ says the integration works on every Linkly plan, including Free, while the MCP server documentation footer says available on Pro and above. Plan eligibility is unresolved; confirm with Linkly before asserting a minimum plan.
  • Feature access such as custom domains and webhooks follows the user's Linkly plan.
  • Linkly says browser/web MCP connections are not supported for Claude or ChatGPT web versions in its MCP setup FAQ; desktop apps/CLI are required for MCP connection.
Source discrepancies
  • MCP guide footer says Pro+; Claude integration FAQ says every Linkly plan including Free. Preserve as unresolved plan conflict.
