About Leni MCP Runtime

Leni's hosted real-estate intelligence MCP runtime lets a signed-in user query authorized portfolio data, run analysis, and access governed personal or organization context.

What you can use it for

  • Query portfolio occupancy and approved real-estate operating or financial measures through the Leni semantic layer.
  • Run real-estate, financial, market research, operating, or organizational analysis.
  • Search permitted Personal or Organization Context and retrieve authorized note attachment links.
  • Create, update, or delete Context only after explicit user request and adequate OAuth scopes.
Connection and setup
Hosting
remote
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Endpoint
https://mcp.leni.co/mcp
Authentication
OAuth 2.0 authorization code with S256 PKCE and delegated Leni user consent; use live OAuth metadata and the exact MCP resource audience. Dynamic client registration is supported. Do not use a project API key as an MCP credential.

Requirements

  • A Leni account and active organization; account/plan eligibility governs tools and analysis usage.
  • An MCP host supporting remote Streamable HTTP and OAuth discovery/DCR.
  • User sign-in and consent; organization or client administrator configuration may apply.

Setup steps

  1. In Claude, open Customize ? Connectors ? Add custom connector, name it Leni, and enter https://mcp.leni.co/mcp. For Claude Team/Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner first adds it in Organization settings ? Connectors ? Add ? Custom ? Web.
  2. Connect, sign in to Leni, review organization and requested permissions, then approve.
  3. Enable Leni for the conversation. For deterministic use, ask the assistant to ?Use Leni? and name the data task.
  4. Verify with a harmless account or portfolio read such as asking Leni for current authorized portfolio occupancy.
Tools 15

The current shared Leni MCP catalog documents these 15 tools. The Excel add-in separately discovers leni_excel_chat only for the leni-excel client; it is not part of the shared tool set. OAuth scopes are checked per call. Analysis can consume account usage; memory creation, updates, and deletion require explicit user intent.

Limitations and notes
  • Current documented access token lifetime is up to 10 minutes; refresh-token policy depends on client registration (7-day idle lifetime for restricted clients, 30 days for trusted clients, and 365-day family absolute lifetime by default). Use expiry from token response and rotate refresh tokens atomically.
  • Tool permissions depend on OAuth scopes, active organization membership, user entitlements, and connected account. Analysis can consume account usage.
  • The separate leni_excel_chat tool is restricted to the leni-excel client and is excluded from the shared 15-tool catalog.
Source discrepancies
  • The queue publisher is blank/ambiguous, but the primary Leni-owned developer documentation and matching product domain identify the implementation as Leni runtime.
  • Leni HTTP API project keys are distinct from MCP OAuth credentials; API installation instructions are not applied to this MCP record.
