About Gong via Composio Connect

Composio-mediated integration exposing Gong account actions through the shared Composio Connect MCP server; this is not a standalone first-party Gong MCP endpoint.

What you can use it for

  • retrieve Gong calls and transcripts
  • inspect users and sales interaction records
  • perform supported Gong account actions through Composio
Connection and setup
Hosting
Hosted platform integration (Composio Connect)
Transport
streamable-http
Endpoint
https://connect.composio.dev/mcp
Authentication
Connect the client to Composio Connect, then authorize Gong via Composio-managed OAuth or provide Gong Basic-auth access key, access-key secret, and customer-specific Gong URL. Composio credentials remain in the platform flow.

Requirements

  • Composio account/connection flow
  • Gong account with suitable API permissions
  • Customer-specific Gong URL when using Basic auth

Setup steps

  1. Register https://connect.composio.dev/mcp in the MCP client and complete the Composio connection flow.
  2. Ask Composio Connect to discover Gong tools and start Gong account authorization; complete the hosted authorization page.
  3. For Basic authentication, use the Gong access key as username, access-key secret as password, and the account-specific Gong base URL; use the toolkit's managed auth flow when available.
  4. Inspect the dynamically provided tool list and annotations for scopes before using tools; require confirmation for writes or destructive actions.
Tools 7+

Composio’s current Gong toolkit reference reports 58 provider actions. This is a versioned toolkit-wide count, not the live tools/list for a connected account; Connect exposes provider actions dynamically.

  • COMPOSIO_SEARCH_TOOLS

Search the Composio action catalog for tools relevant to a request and return a suggested execution plan.

    01
  • COMPOSIO_GET_TOOL_SCHEMAS

Fetch input schemas for tool slugs returned by search.

    02
  • COMPOSIO_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL

Execute one or more discovered provider tools in parallel across connected apps.

    03
  • COMPOSIO_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS

Create, list, rename, or remove OAuth connections to upstream apps.

    04
  • COMPOSIO_WAIT_FOR_CONNECTIONS

Wait for a user to complete an OAuth connection flow.

    05
  • COMPOSIO_REMOTE_WORKBENCH

Run Python in a remote sandbox for bulk operations and processing large tool responses.

    06
  • COMPOSIO_REMOTE_BASH_TOOL

Run Bash in a remote sandbox for file processing and large data handling.

    07

This server’s available tools can vary by account, permissions, or configuration. The list shown is not its full runtime catalog.

Limitations and notes
  • Requires Composio as an intermediary and account connection.
  • Gong API base URL varies by customer.
  • Gong toolkit includes write and destructive actions; inspect tool annotations/scopes and require confirmation.
