## Catalog record

- Publisher: Google Cloud
- Categories: search, cloud-service

## Website

https://docs.cloud.google.com/resource-manager/reference/mcp

## Transports

Streamable HTTP

## Authentication

Google Cloud authentication: OAuth 2.0 using Application Default Credentials (ADC) in supported Google clients, or a client OAuth ID/secret or bearer token in compatible third-party clients. The principal needs mcp.tools.call plus the underlying product permissions; API key authentication is only available for services that explicitly support it.

## Tools

- **search_projects**: Searches for Google Cloud projects. This tool may be used whenever any tools or conversation context requires a GCP project. A SearchProjects call with an empty query will return all projects the user has access to, which can be used to determine a curated list of projects. The tool can find projects by parent (e.g., 'parent:folders/223'), project ID (e.g., 'projectId:my-project-id'), or other filters.
