## Authentication

Interactive browser OAuth through /http, or an Enigma API key sent as x-api-key to /http-key. Enigma documents API-key auth as recommended for Claude Code and Cursor and OAuth for its Claude/ChatGPT connector flows. An Enigma account is required; API key is created in Enigma Console ? Settings ? Account ? API keys.

- **search_business**: Search a business and return profile, revenue, transaction, growth, industry, technology, location, brand, and legal-entity data.
- **search_person**: Search a person or Person ID and return associated names, legal-entity roles, registrations, public business registration addresses, related brands, and IDs.
- **get_brand_locations**: Return a brand's locations with addresses, 12-month card revenue, and coordinates.
- **get_brand_card_analytics**: Return up to 60 months of card transaction analytics including revenue, growth, customer counts, transactions, average transaction amount, and refunds.
- **get_brand_legal_entities**: Return legal entities associated with a brand and registration/status details.
- **search_negative_news**: Search negative business news for legal, financial, labor, management, environmental, consumer, product-recall, and cybersecurity findings.
- **search_gov_archive**: Search government records for registrations, permits, licenses, inspections, court filings, liens, environmental records, and professional licensing.
- **search_kyb**: Match business brands and legal entities and return address/name verification.
- **screen_customer**: Screen an individual against sanctions lists; supports name and optional DOB, country, passport information, tag, and list groups.
- **screen_business**: Screen a business or organization against sanctions lists; supports organization name, country, address, BIC, tag, and list groups.
- **screen_entity_search**: Retrieve a sanctions entity profile by entity ID with raw, display, structured, or attributes output.
- **find_decision**: Retrieve a screening decision by request ID; requires decision recording to be enabled.
- **find_decisions**: Search and paginate screening decisions by date, alert, status, assignee, and tag.
- **update_decision**: Update a screening decision's status, assignee, or note; requires request ID and user ID.
- **generate_brands_segment**: Generate a segment of businesses using brand-oriented filters for the Enigma business data workflow.
- **generate_locations_segment**: Generate a segment of businesses using location-oriented filters for the Enigma business data workflow.
